About ClarifyDoc

I built ClarifyDoc after getting burned by a freelance contract I didn't fully understand. There was a non-compete buried in the fine print that I didn't catch until it was too late. That experience stuck with me.

Most people don't have a lawyer on speed dial. They sign leases, job offers, and freelance agreements without really knowing what they're agreeing to — not because they're careless, but because legal language is designed to be hard to read.

ClarifyDoc is a simple tool that reads your contract and explains it in plain English. It flags the risky parts and tells you what to watch out for. It's not a replacement for a lawyer — but it's a good first step before you sign anything.

This whole thing was built in a day using Next.js and AI. It's a solo project, and I'm actively improving it based on feedback.
